She's in good shape physically, she's on the younger side of middle age, her facial features are symmetrical, and she's had some cosmetic enhancements to make the most of what she's got. But this in itself doesn't catapult her into the realm of specialness. If you saw her at the grocery checkout, wearing sweats and putting her items on the conveyor belt, your gaze wouldn't linger on her for long because there'd be nothing very noteworthy about her appearance. I've worked around hundreds of groomed-to-the-teeth career women in corporate settings, where Palin's appearance would also be completely unremarkable.
