SUSA Indiana poll: Obama 49 (+4) McCain 45 (-3)
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 10:07 AM by Schulzz
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12 Days Till Votes Are Counted, Hoosiers Blue: In an election for President of the United States in Indiana today, 10/23/08, Democrat Barack Obama edges Republican John McCain 49% to 45%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WHAS-TV in Louisville KY. Compared to a SurveyUSA poll 1 month ago, McCain is down 3, Obama is up 4. Today: White voters split; McCain had led by 9. There are few plausible scenarios in which McCain loses Indiana and still wins the White House. The last Democrat to carry Indiana was Lyndon Johnson in 1964, who, nationwide, received 61% of the popular vote and 90% of the electoral vote.

And they have Obama's AA support only at 79%, so he might even have a larger lead. I don't know if this poll was posted earlier, because it was published yesterday.

5. Wouldn't it be hilarious if we got Indiana AND Virginia?
Because Evan Bayh and Tim Kaine were considered for VP bc of the possibility they would deliver those states to Obama!

eh, I'm probably getting greedy...all I need is a win :)
