It's so far out that I'm not sure why anyone would bother suggesting it.

She's got Republican "activist" videos on youtube, one of which shows her meticulously explaining how to make a poster (which incidentally looks like it was made by an insane/low functioning person.) She's got a video of herself monitoring a black janitor who has torn up one of her signs (which she presumably wasn't supposed to tape up somewhere) while she's collecting signatures. She hangs out with Republican activists and "twitters" to them incessantly.

Is the suggestion that she's actually a brilliant Obama plant who faked being a lunatic Republican activist who spent weeks (or presumably months, maybe years?) establishing her identity just so she could stage a fake attack on herself to make herself look even more like a lunatic Republican activist... and this is supposed to help Obama how?

In the end, if she confesses to fabricating the whole thing, McCain's camp will express outrage at her terrible behavior and Obama's camp will express that they hope she is able to get help for her condition. Nobody will gain anything from this experience.

Or, if by some really wild stretch of the imagination she is completely telling the truth and the surveillance videos show she was held down by a backwards-writing meticulous character-scratcher who really is a violent black 6'4" 200 lb (must be very lean) tank-top wearing (at 38F) militant Obama supporter, I guess their wild plant theory won't be true and all of this will be Obama's fault and he might as well throw in the towel.

Study the photo. No real bruising visible. Not a realistic amount of redeye. "B' is not only backward, but is not a real cut due to lack of clotted blood (ever had a cut?) and complete lack of bruising at the "cut" site. "Bruised" eye is quite obviously eye shadow.

Sorry to say, looks like she did it to herself. A desperate move by a desperate person. Unfortunately, the GOP are not normal people; they are desperate.

11. I've had many a black eye (growing up with 4 brothers) and I've seen

many a black eye. Usually with a black eye, there is swelling on black AND blue bruising. Also, red blood vessels. The minute I saw that photo, it struck me as very suspicious.
