Both were rated number one in the youth demo on Tuesday. KO beat Bill-o and Rachel beat Hannity.

They have been strong the last couple of weeks but especially this week.

Is the country waking up?

(Tweety's doing great too! Last time I looked he was WAY down.)

1. Think that's why "Mourning Joe" is so bitter
and Tweety smells the roses and is growing a spine.

Love it!

2. Hey, whaddya know. Turns out liberals and moderates are tired
of every single news/opinion commentator on Fox and CNN being right-wing "independents."

3. It's especially good news because comcast has kicked msnbc off their cable feeds.
for the basic rate anyway.

9. Try Free Speech TV on Channel 9415!
"Democracy Now" is broadcast several times a day, along with GRIT-TV, with Laura Flanders, and the I.N.N. News Report. I never miss these shows!

11. I rarely get home in time to watch Democracy Now
though I do try to remember to listen on the local Pacifica station, KPFT. Dish also has Link-TV and one show I've enjoyed when I catch it is Mosaic - World News from the Middle East. It's always informative and cool to see how they are reporting what we're doing over there ;)

4. Build it, and they will come
How long have we been screaming at MSNBC to hire Rachel? At least three years?

Faux is going to be so screwed in the coming year. :)

6. would that be the icing on the cake? To see Fox drop back into obscurity? Be still my heart.
The end of Joe Lieberman.

The end of Palin.

The end of Fox News.

I'm in love with Obama.

12. Fox News is still way ahead in total viewers. They won't be dropping into...
obscurity anytime soon.

8. Rachel has shored up MSNBC as the liberal Fox at night
It's a great strategy IMO leaving CNN supposedly "neutral" and MSNBC and Fox taking up the partisan left and right respectively. I can live with this situation - finally the market has found it's equilibrium IMO.

13. The Youth demo is what advertisers care about anyways.
O'Reilly and Hannity's viewers are WAY older, and while they do drive the numbers up, they're not the numbers that advertisers care about.
