My unofficial TX poll
I just got back home in San Antonio from visiting Houston and The Woodlands. I did an unofficial poll of bumper stickers. Here are the results:

Kerry or Anti-Bush cars: 7
Bush Cars (including one of my relatives): 7

So according to my poll TX is very close. I just thought you guys would get a kick out of that. I thought it was very interesting.

1. the Kerry campaign should seriously make TX a priority, don't you think?
they could talk up the states environment, education , and healthcare debacles and the negative effect Bush had on them all. it would get a lot of press if the campaign made like they were confident they could succeed

plus, it's alot of electoral votes if Kerry could win the state!

2. I think Kerry could have TX if the state got more attention.
When you talk to people in the state they cannot stand GWB as much as anyone in this country. Most of us knew what the country was getting themselves in because of when he was govenor. Esp. in SA there are so many people that are pro Kerry and anti Bush. According to my uncle (who is a rabid * supporter) there are so many liberals in Austin he can stand to go anywhere. Most of my republican relatives have turned around or are undecided voters.

I know that some of us are working very hard ourselves campaigning here for Kerry and especially the vets here started TX Verterns for Kerry and had a big rally with Max Cleland and they are planning on a big tour with other vets around the country.
