I'm suddenly getting *really* angry, seething, and incoherent emails from my Righty friends. Really, really angry. So I tuned into my favorite Righty blog, and those folks are pretty darned angry too:

I guess after 28 years of far-right rule, losing is is a rude shock for that crowd. We have our work cut out for us if we're to move forward together as a single country after 1/20/2009. Assuming we win, which is likely but not certain.

they really don't confront me on my nightly precinct walks; rather, they say stupid things (the hardrighties) at our rallies - from across the street (they don't seem too brave).

12. Sort Of

I used to post there and try to point out that the results of Righty policies were shattering failures. Until they threw me off: they ran a piece on how US papers were pussies for not publishing the Allah cartoon that caused all of the fuss in Denmark. I wrote that if they're so brave, why didn't they publish the picture themselves. I guess that was too nasty or terrifying for them to deal with.

5. The smell of desperation

I'm going through the same thing. There is actually a tenseness at my work that has become unbearable. Probably because I work with a large group of wingnuts, and they are not happy with what's going on. Of course, there are also those who are in denial, saying the polls are biased toward the Democratic party. I tell you, it is very, very tense.

9. Yeah, they've been pretty arrogant, even on a very personal level to me.

They appear not to have the ability to understand what many of us on the opposite side of the spectrum have been feeling like for YEARS. Most of my life, actually. I should have every reason totreat them the same way but I'm not like that. But I WILL tell them how I feel and not be afraid to voice my opinion. There's a difference between voicing one's opinion and knocking down someone else's opinion.

We must make them understand how angry and attacked we've felt.
