Trip down memory lane: McClellan spinning Chimp's TANG records
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/02/20040210-3.html

Hilarious reading! From February 10th, but still fun re-reading as the media tries once again to get answers to the questions. It's surreal -- like an SNL skit, or the Spinal Tap scene where Nigel keeps saying the amp goes "one louder," except here it's Scott saying "these are payroll records."

One example of questions never answered: why was Bush "not observed" by his commanding officers?

MR. McCLELLAN: You're talking about quotes -- you're talking about quotes from individuals. And we said for years, going back four years ago, that the President recalls serving and performing his duties.

Q I understand that, but his commanders do not recall it. And, in fact, they say, that he was not observed. So can you explain the contradiction, or can't you?

MR. McCLELLAN: I've seen some different comments he's -- no, I've seen some different comments made over the recent time period.

Q I haven't seen any different -- different comments from Brigadier General Turnipseed, not from his Ellington commanders, who said he was not observed. Can you explain the contradiction?

MR. McCLELLAN: Look, I can't speak for those individuals. I can speak for the President of the United States.

1. Bush is a deserter, end of story! He is as unreliable today as he
was in the National Guard, missing days in the Guard, missing minutes on 9/11.

America, send a message that Bush's statement, "I'm the President of the United States, I don't HAVE to answer questions," won't stand for ANY President of the United States! FIRE him and demand he answer the questions UNDER OATH!

2. Kerry recalls serving too
But somehow we're all supposed to doubt his memory and believe Bush's, hahah.

3. Damn -- good point!!!
I totally missed that one. Chimp's "memory" supercedes what his records and superiors say; but Kerry's memory PLUS what his records and most of his superiors and crewmen say aren't enough for the "Morans."

4. McClellan's spinning what?
C'mon. I highly, highly doubt Bush ever had any of these.
