Morning Joe
Everyone is all worked-up about Buchanan's racist remark, but I thought "Morning Joe" was worse. He said: "There is no way a white conservative could have an associate like Ayres, or a Muslim-sounding name, and be taken seriously as a candidate for President. There is SUCH a double standard. It is impossible to criticise Obama for these things because he is black." (Paraphrasing, but not much.)

Never mind, of course, that McCain has an infinitely worse associate (Liddy,)has not condemned him in the least, and has come in for virtually no criticism because of it.

choked on a pretzel.

2. Matthews tried to rebutt that and MJ "mocked" him, imitated what he was saying in that horrible
mocking, sing-song sarcastic voice he uses on his show when he mocks his guests.

OTOH, he was subdued on MTP, when surrounded by "grownups". Although, he did try to rebutt David Brooks and Brooks scoffed at him. The man CANNOT be liked by his associates. He is the worst of America, a despicable human being.

3. Not to mention the treatment Obama would be receiving if he took free trips from an S&L crook
It'll be more like Mourning Joe tomorrow.

4. I think he said "a white candidate" in general, , which is even worse.

WRONG, Joe. A REPUBLICAN candidate never would have been able to get away with having a flimsy association with Ayers...only Republican terrorists are acceptable to them! Disgusting...He later just said "never would have made it past the Republican primary", but originally said white.

5. Joe is just insufferable. I'm sorry to see him getting even more
air time (MTP panel today, Hardball today) - I keep hoping he'll get fired.

8. I actually think he's one of the worst (and far worse than Buchanan in his hatred of the "left").
He bristles with disdain and hubris.

P.S. ANyone catch that one shot of him that panned out and showed he was wearing sneakers
with his pinstriped suit? What a dork.

10. Hey!
I wear sneakers with a suit. I have, ever since seeing John Lennon doing so in 1968.
