I seem to have missed this phenomenon.

Is it just that they're pointless polls, right-leaning push polls, or...?

15. There was a poll about whether Palin was qualified as VP - Poll #435

It was posted about 100 times, most of which were after people had figured out that the numbers never change and/or that you could vote 1,000,000 times if you wanted to due to a lack of a cookie. I never figured out if the poll works or not, but nearly everybody here is sick and tired of seeing the link to the poll posted. Most people have memorized the "poll 435" in the link and immediately pounce on the poster - it's become a running joke here :D
