Tired of hearing the same repug lies and half baked truths and scare tactics?
One of the more enduring fright - night fear fests being dished out by morally bankrupt conservatives is that Barack Obama has the most liberal voting record.
OMG!!!! Noooooooo!
Whatever that means, because few will actually look up to read the actual Senate record, nor even be able to explain just what that means. But it sure sounds scary. <sarcasm>
In the meantime, the oft quoted source of this factoid is the National Review, a right wing, mag founded by the late William F. Buckley.
Now, here is the really odd thing for the party of “adult responsibility” <sarcasm>
the right wing pundits conveniently forget to tell us that the son of the founder and long time conservative Christopher Buckley has come out for Obama!
Isn’t Mr. Buckley afraid of being over run by fire breathing socialist, radical, um...no need to give air to the lies, well..you know the rest... apparently knowing what he knows, knowing the fright fest from the right, Mr. Buckley is not frightened by Barack Obama and in saying so has had to quite the paper his own dad founded!
The rw thought police objected to his candor.

>>A once-first class temperament has become irascible and snarly; his positions change, and lack coherence; he makes unrealistic promises, such as balancing the federal budget “by the end of my first term.” Who, really, believes that?<<

>>As for Senator Obama: He has exhibited throughout a “first-class temperament” ...
well, he’s a Harvard man ...I’ve read Obama’s books, and they are first-rate...Obama has in him...the potential to be a good, perhaps even great leader. He is, it seems clear enough, what the historical moment seems to be calling for.<<

>>And so, for the first time in my life, I’ll be pulling the Democratic lever in November.<<
Read about how the Intolerant right, jackbooted Mr. Buckley out for daring to have a diverging opinion and to swim up stream towards the light of reason and truth against the strong currents of rw fanatic group think.
