1. Well... as it relates to Obama's campaign for the presidency, I don't care.
I'm focused on getting Obama into the White House.

3. It's a frightening thing when I knew Powell's lies were lies and Powell didn't know his
lies were lies.

But then, the UN knew his lies were lies and no one was impressed with his lies at the UN --which is why they all voted "hell no" to goerge w. bush's illegal unprovoked attack on the people of Iraq.

The vast majority of the world knew Powell's lies were lies; the vast majority of the world knew george w. bush's lies were lies.

The vast majority of the world said "hell no" to george w. bush's illegal unprovoked war on the people of Iraq.

And the US "media" --in particular Fox News & Pundits-- bent themselves into pretzels tying to convincce the American people that most the world was part of the "coalition of the willing".

Dear freepers, dontcha EVER get tired of being conned by your rightwing heros???

5. He knew it was bullshit
His blaming the intelligence only adds to my disdain of him. I'm glad for his endorsement, but I hope he rots in hell.

4. Of course not.
He's a political parasite who sucks up to whomever is in power, in order to stroke his own ego and advance his career.

Bush was way too stupid to do much of his evil work alone. People like Powell were the brains behind the outfit. He gathered together Bush's lies and transformed them into "credible intelligence". He turned Bush's silly rantings about "evil doers" and convinced most Americans that Iraq was a real and present danger to the existence of the United States. Colin Powell is a very smart man who chose to use his brains for evil.
