1. If you Are Using PhotoShop
Take it into ImageReady and build your animation there.

5. My limited steps on what you can do in Photoshop...
1. You can use the circular marquee tool to get a precise copy of the fruit (making sure to set the feather to 1-2pixels). Put it into a new layer....hide the layer
2. use the Rubber stamp tool to put back Obama's white shirt and do the same with the missing tie...you should end up with Obama minus the fruit.
3. Now reshow the fruit layer and put it in the appropriate places that simulate it moving up and down...each time you do this then save it out as a gif file.
4. Each of the frames you save you now import them into something like GIF Magic or Ulead Gif Animator and it will combine the pictures into a full fledge animation.

7. Ok..here you go...The Photoshop file with Obama w/ fixed Tie and separated fruit/veg

This is a .RAR file containing the PSD file with Obama and the tomato/turnip/banana or whatever ... the fruit/veg is a separate layer and i also fixed Obama's shirt and tie.... :)

so all you have to do is adjust the fruit/veg in any way you like and save out each gif file.
I will see about getting you the gif creator too...i will post a link when i find it.

UPDATE
I was looking to send you Ulead Gif Animator but it is quite large 12-50mb...i found this to be quite good in putting the gif pictures you'd be saving out into a cycling animation since it gives you options on what portions get animated since most of the picture isnt animated just the fruit area) and the speed rate for each frame....If you know how to use Torrents i suggest yuo head over the mininova and download it there (will be pretyt quick to donwload)....Another option (which i dont recommend since it doesnt give you enough options such as no ability to ping-pong animation where it cycles the animation from the last frame backwards) are the online GIF animation sites.

Enjoy
