Tired, Desperate and tantrum-filled McBlinky on Fixed Noise this Sunday
Edited on Sun Oct-19-08 09:20 AM by zulchzulu
McCain is shown a map by Karl Rove where Obama is ahead in the Electoral College with 313 to McCain's 174 with 94 open. He goes on about how different national polls show it getting close.

McCain says Obama's money is dubious and inflects that the American people need to know where the $150 million in September came from.

McCain mentions the phony Joe The Plumber to use as a ruse. Wallace calls him on it and McCain throws a tantrum. This is good stuff. Look at him blowing up. A hothead.

McCain mentioned socialism in a speech yesterday. He's using socialism as a tactic now! What a McCarthyistic LOSER! He goes back to the LIE about $42,000 and goes off on "redistribution of the wealth". Wallace calls him on how he voted for the very bill that he is saying Obama voted on and he tries to wiggle out of it by blaming the economic and banking crisis on Fannie and Freddie.

He looks exhausted. He looks desperate.

McCain is asked on his use of robocalls. He comes back from the robocall playback and says it was all "accurate". McCain is called on it from Wallace that he used the same "hate calls" as the guy in 2000 and is asked to stop the calls. He is asked if he will stop the calls and he says he won't.

GOOD! Robocalls do nothing but make the candidate be seen in a negative light.

McCain goes on Obama saying he needs to repudiate John Lewis' statement. Wallace calls him on it, saying it's bullshit.

Wallace plays McCain's quote that he was going to run a clean campaign. He goes off on the same tired Joe The Plumber garbage.

McCain knows he lost. He wants to go down in flames. Good.

McCain is asked about Powell's endorsement. He is not surprised and goes on about having the endorsements of slimebags from the Reagan years.

I can't take another minute of this compulsive liar. He's over.

3. Great informative post. Many thanks. Methinks Rupert knows
if he wants access to President Obama, they all better start changing their tune. Your post is as good if not better than Jason's over on HuffPo which I always read so I don't have to watch. McCain is soooo over. Can't believe he thinks these robo calls are a good thing. Loser.

4. He admitted he's contemplating defeat. It was very telling.
He sounded like a loser.

5. Thanks for the summary -- I will look for the youtube -- glad they called him out on robocalls
McCain in 2000:

"A lot of phone calls were made by people who said we should be very ashamed about her, about the color of her skin," McCain told one interviewer. "Thousands and thousands of calls from people to voters saying 'You know the McCains have a black baby.' I believe that there is a special place in hell for people like those."

"You've seen it -- turn on the radio, turn on the television, and unfortunately now pick up the telephone and you'll hear a negative attack against John McCain," McCain said during a February 2000 GOP debate in South Carolina.

7. I never thought it possible that anyone could make a worse president than GWB
I believe John McCain would make GWB's mendacity look like downright honesty.

9. Sounds like Chris Wallace had a sudden attack of Journalism. His fellow Fox
pundits are probably searching for a cure right now.

12. Thanks for watching for us. I flipped the channel 'cause I didn't want to loose my breakfast.
When I saw McCain & Wallace's faces up on the screen I figured I couldn't stand to watch another lovefest. Now I'm sorry I didn't watch.
