7. Seeing that her opponent has just been handed a half million dollars

in a little known district in Minnesota in a close race in the closing 2 weeks....she's probably been on the phone with GOP heavy weights begging them to save her ass and pitch in. It isn't going to work. She's going to be a lesson to future GOP congresswoman to not committ gaffes..i.e. say what you really think and believe.

9. I grew up in MN-6. My parents still live there.

It includes some well-populated counties, kind of on the borderland between the Cities and the rest of the state. The rep before Bachmann, Mark Kennedy, was the guy who lost to Amy Klobuchar two years ago. It's probably not highest on their list, but MN-6 is almost certainly on the GOP's radar.
