RNC hits a new low- Ties Obama to 911 high jacker Atta with driver license and immigration
Put it up on Drudge's website

Paid for by the National Republican Trust PAC, a right-wing hit group, this ad shows Mohamed Atta's driver's license superimposed on a Scary Black Man shot of Barack Obama.

Really, Drudge? You accepted an ad running a picture of Obama beside the picture and name of a 9/11 hijacker?

14. Yeah, they forgot to mention that Atta was here on a M-1 Student Visa.
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 07:41 PM by SurferBoy
But, uh, that would take away the "illegal" argument now wouldn't it? :eyes:

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/US/03/12/inv.flight.school.visas/

The M-1 student visa request forms for Atta and al-Shehhi were filed by Huffman Aviation on August 29, 2000.

The forms asked that the men, who had entered the United States on tourist visas, be allowed to change their visa status so they could take a $27,300 professional pilot program that would last from September 1, 2000, until September 1 the next year.

The student visa requests were actually granted months later -- on July 17, 2001, for Atta, and August 9, 2001, for al-Shehhi -- but postmarks indicate the letters of notification were only sent out to Huffman Aviation last week. They were received Monday, the six-month milestone of last year's terror attacks.

3. This just turns people off to the GOP
The lower they go, the more attractive Obama is to the vast majority of regular people.

21. Yes, That's True ...
... but I'm concerned that it may be equally true that such shenanigans do succeed in inciting a highly incitable right-wing thug base. Thanks to loony crap like that ad, the prospect of right-wing violence grows ever more serious. GOP thugs tend to be (a) batshit crazy; and (b) armed to the teeth. That's a bad combination from the get-go, but then their "leaders" fire up the great, nasty unwashed with pile after pile of "scary terrorist" horseshit. Yikes.

6. WTF? WTF? WTF? THose people ought to be in jail or run out of the Country!!!
How much worse could illegal immigrants be than the RNC??? Someone needs to call them out! Fuck them... just fuck them. McCain is the biggest scumbag on earth. WORSE than Rove, WORSE than any of his advisors, because that POS APPROVES this stuff? Even if it IS a PAC, he can call those PACs off... with a phone call. Miserable prick.

13. Why hasn't McCain REPUDIATED this ad?
Why? Why the fuck hasn't he done this already? It's not directly linked to his campaign, but that hasn't stopped him from asking for withdrawels from people unconnected to Obama.
