How many posts have we seen here that has said Iowa is in the bag for Obama? It's not - the hate brigade is gearing up and the undecideds are paying attention (finally).

What we should do is get to our local Obama/Biden offices and volunteer.
Educate the people who see these signs and wonder WTF?
Let people who end up affiliated with these folks know what we think of their affiliation.
And if these people are our neighbors let them know what we think of their uneducated - misguided ideas.


A person at HQ yesterday asked about early voting - was afraid what the campaigns would do with the ballots after they voted (yep, they thought the campaigns ran the early voting - not the election office).

We should not ignore the filth - but work to fight it.

I argued for about three seconds with an old family friend when she declared
"Well, I am not voting for Obama he is a muslin terrorist"

I said he is a piece of cloth terrorist? I walked away. I have lost respect forever with 6 people I have known all my life and it saddens me to no end but I am walking away from them for good. Their families will miss me at their funerals and with parents in their mid 80's I go to a lot of funerals.

26. It's crazy - several of our football team members came out for Obama

during their incredible season last year - UNI seemed to embrace Obama. (the state senate candidate's sign you see in the pic is vying to represent the university area). Right now a liberal lefty Democrat represents the district - and yes, he's a veteran. :P

23. I think many need to keep a crisp picture

of exactly who and what it is we are dealing with. We deal with questionable people that will use evil means to reach misguided at best ends. There are many that pretend that is not the case because of personal and emotional anecdotal evidence but if you are not what you believe, what your purpose is, and what you will do and accept to achieve it then what and who are you?

Lie, steal, kill, subvert, and accuse the next guy but just do whatever it takes to "do the right thing". What ever they define that to mean to meet the goals of funneling wealth to the wealthy and erode individual freedoms.
