Sheesh, people- stop this nonsense about the election already being stolen. Do you want us to freaking give up? Colorado is cited as the worst example of voter purges, yet there are more Democrats than in 2004:

http://www.chieftain.com/articles/2008/10/10/news/local/doc48ef14d420898206871936.txt

There are 55,121 more Democrats and 21,271 more unaffiliated voters this year in Colorado than in November 2004. At the same time, there were 73,140 fewer Republicans on the rolls than there are now.

In 2004, Republicans outnumbered Democrats by more than 176,500 registered voters.

The actual number of people eligible to vote this year is expected to be higher because the numbers don't include last-minute registrations filed by Monday's deadline. Volunteers from both parties spent last weekend, for example, registering as many people as they could for the Nov. 4 election.

Colorado Democratic Party spokesman Matt Farrauto said the numbers were welcome news, while GOP party Chairman Dick Wadhams said he wasn't concerned.

"It's clear that the numbers have tightened, there's no doubt about it," Wadhams said. "It goes back and forth. They've had good success in registering numbers, but the state remains competitive."
