If Palin/McCain wins, I am going to be really, *really* depressed.
It is almost unbelievable to me that America might well throw aside a vastly superior Democratic candidate for yet another pair of awful Republicans (this time, a hothead and an airhead), for the third straight time.

Why is this happening? These two are blatantly unqualified for high office. It defies all logic and common sense! Are we now doomed to have one terrible Republican president after another until our democracy is well and truly dead?

The thought of facing four long years of Palin/McCain makes me so terribly sad at heart (not to mention sick to my stomach). What's the point of finally getting rid of bush, only to put in two people who are even worse?

:(

7. Obama should be 25 points ahead right now, but racism
is the reason he isn't.

If McCain wins, I am buying an apartment in Montreal, and when I retire in 9 years, I am moving up there. I am through with the stupidity of my fellow Americans. Done with 1/2 the country being ignorant.

8. That's all we hear about is race..
and that is because it is the only way the Republicans will have plausibility if they manage to steal another election. I don't know about you, but I don't know that 1/2 of the country that is ignorant. I read all about them, but for every one of them, how many of us are Americans? We see the line at the McCain/Palin rally and hear from some whacko's but what about the Obama rallies? How come we don't hear about those people? I believe there are far more good, decent Americans than there are ignorant, arrogant, bitter racists.
