I am sick to my stomach at hearing the race-baiting of the Republicans,
and at the thought of another stolen election, and what will happen in this country if this shit works.

Talk me down, please.

1. I'm worried too.
Ohio is being kept close enough to steal.

Somebody do something over there!

2. the thing is
the thing is, the more they try that then the more the public will see clearly what they're doing. And do not get me wrong, I haven't got much faith in the public!, but I don't think most people like being told what they should fear, where it comes down to pure racism I mean.

I'm preparing to see a lot worse crap happen in the next couple of weeks, nothing will surprise me anymore, but I'm hoping their really crazy shit will backfire on them.

3. No, The Public is Being Told That The "Bradley Effect" Accounts for Any Discrepancies
They are being told this by every media outlet, and they will believe it.

5. More people are aware that Republicans use multiple methods to manipulate
elections now. More people will have gone to STEAL BACK YOUR VOTE dot com to find out how they can best ensure that their votes are counted.

More people have seen documentaries like STealing America Vote by Vote, www.stealingamericathemovie.com ,
with excellent TV coverage footage from election night 2004 and other recent elections.

More people know that Republicans try to get their people in as Secretaries of State in swing states to handle the distribution of voting machines (send too few to Democratic areas), the safety of electronic voting machines (some were left in poll worker homes overnight, and had last minute fixes on election day), the purging of voter rolls, and the counting of provisional ballots (often set aside uncounted because "they're too few to change the outcome.")

I think the ACORN stuff may be the right wing preparing the ground because they're planning to do on a much bigger scale what they did in Ohio 2004, to station people at polling places in Democratic districts to challenge voter registrations at the polls. This is not really for accuracy because vote fraud via fake registrations is a non -issue, less than 10 convictions for fake votes in 5 years. It is intended to slow voting down so that Democrats have to wait hours in long lines and will give up and go home.

I'd be glad if others were right and the ACORN stuff was just designed for propaganda purposes post-election, to sow the seeds of doubt in President Obama's legitimacy. Because President Obama can overwhelm those attacks through improving the quality of life for millions of Americans.
