Obama understands Iran threat, unequivocally supports Israel

For the sake of American ideals as well as our country’s power and prestige and for the security of our beloved Israel, we should choose Barack Obama as president.

Barack Obama through his votes in the Senate has clearly demonstrated his unequivocal support for the state of Israel. The Chicago Jewish community n which knows him well n has given him unqualified support in recognition of his understanding of Israel’s position as a close American ally. Obama has stated that Israel’s security is “sacrosanct.” Many of his Middle East advisers (who come from mainstream pro-Israel circles) have deep experience in dealing with Israel. Obama has demonstrated repeatedly that he understands how precarious Israel’s place in the world is.

Obama’s cool temperament will serve him well as he is forced to make difficult foreign policy choices. This contrasts vividly with John McCain’s well-known volcanic temperament and erratic decision-making, which is best exemplified in his choice of the ill-prepared Sarah Palin. Palin is without even the most superficial understanding of American foreign policy.

Obama’s wise judgment is reflected in his selection of Joe Biden, a senator with a strong foreign policy résumé. Obama and Biden will restore American ideals and power and will protect Israel.
