By McCain's reasoning, being convicted of a crime is better than not being convicted.
So Liddy is ok but Ayers is bad, because Liddy has paid his debt to society but Ayers hasn't. Kind of turns the justice system on its head, doesn't it? If they can't get the goods on you, you are by definition a bad person. And here I thought all along it was innocent until proven guilty. Silly me. And of course there is that "shoot them in the head because they will be wearing bullet proof vests thingy." What about that John? Did Mr. Liddy ever pay his debt to society for trying to incite violence against federal officers?
