One of the downsides to being here in a fairly reliably "blue" state is the candidates don't have to spend as much time here. Maybe we'll be lucky though, and Obama will drop in before Nov.

I only added a handful of people from here to myspace so far, but I was afraid I'd get them mixed up and not be able connect myspace names with DU names. If you saw my myspace page, you'd know another reason I'd trade cities anytime. I am a Twin Peaks freak and I just love the whole feel of Washington.

This rally here ought to be insane. There were 25,000 at Kerry/Edwards in 2004 in the same location. So I can't imagine how many will be there. Hopefully I'll get pictures to post.

It's going to be WILD! Kerry's rally was actually in front of Union Station and we got the time wrong and were the first ones there. Waited hours. I can't imagine how early people will be lining up for this. I'm glad it's being held up on the hill. Security seemed completely impossible from the Union Station vantage point.

I had really figured neither of them would come up here to Washington, since we're a pretty reliably blue state, but now it seems they'll both be here..Joe doing the rally sunday afternoon, and Barack's going to a fund raiser in Seattle Sunday night. Maybe if you send their page some messages about stopping by DFW, they'll do it?
