Sign at Todd Palin rally "Charles Manson was a Community Organizer"
At first I thought he was holding the sign, but I think it is being held by someone in the crowd.

"If there was any doubt as to what had brought out the 400-500 souls who showed up in a Gander Mountain parking lot on the outskirts of Duluth this afternoon, the hand-made signs in the crowd spelled it out:

Three things keep us free: God, Guns, Sarah!

Charles Manson was a community organizer

And, on a truck loaded with firewood: Let’s turn Washington DC into a hockey rink

Roben Seldhaus of Hoyt Lakes was there with her dog, an American Eskimo decked out in McCain/Palin sandwich boards. (”And she wasn’t registered by Acorn!”) The event was billed as a Sportsmen for Norm Coleman rally featuring Todd Palin, but the guests of honor — besides Norm and the First Dude, they included Coleman’s wife Laurie and National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre — arrived to find the crowd in the midst of a full-throated “We love Sarah!” chant."

1. Norm the Weasel really has gone to the dark side.
It's hard to believe he was ever actually a Democrat.

8. I didn't like Norm even when he was a Democrat.
He's always been an opportunist; he became a Republican only after the DFL chose somebody else to run for the Senate some years ago ('96, I think). I met him when he was Mayor of St. Paul. He's the sort of guy who, after you've shaken his hand, you want to wipe your hand off on your clothes when nobody's looking. He's skeevy.

9. My husband and I saw him while shopping when he was still mayor.
We were somewhere in West St. Paul - maybe Cub. I can't remember.

Anyway, just being a few feet away from him did skeeve me out quite a bit.

6. He's never had any principles
i know a guy who worked in the AG's office when Shitheel Norm was there. The only thing he's ever believed in is the advancement of Norm Coleman. If Norm thought he could get votes from cannibals he'd be promising them missionaries for dinner.

3. MN snowbillies heard from!
Jeebus, Laurie Coleman was there!!?? Norm only calls her during campaigns, I guess. She spends virtually all of her time in Cali. Nobody in MN thinks that is a real marriage.

10. Why, yes. Yes, he was! At one time he was thought to have a promising political career ahead of him.

11. Todd Palin has his own rallies?
I don't believe it. He isn't smart enough to pour piss out of a boot without the instructions written on the heel.

WTF can this illiterate possibly have to say that anybody would give a fuck about? Except other illiterates I guess.

16. SOOOOO. . .
You want to SHUN Dems like us-- that hunt and shoot, that OWN GUNS (boy do we own plenty!) and that
subsistent hunt and fish.

And I am also to be condemned because I am a "rink rat," in other words, I hang around ice rinks because
my daughter ice skates. . .

Sheesh!

13. I saw a women this evening who must have attended that rally.
She had a new van with a lot of big windows that were appropriately decked out for such an occasion. Every window except those in the front cab were completely, and I mean COMPLETELY, wallpapered with 8 1/2 by 11 pieces of paper taped together. On them were printed in large letters every Obama smear ever created.

Most prominent was her warning to us to stop Barack HUSSEIN Obama from becoming president because he's a terrorist and will destroy America. In one of the windows it read "John SIDNEY McCain is my president!". It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. My daughter and I just cracked up laughing as we passed her and her passenger.

My daughter couldn't wait to move ahead of her so that she could make her head explode when she saw our Obama-Biden sticker. We must have frightened her because she made a quick turn off the highway as soon as they saw us. I think she was probably afraid Obama would jump out of our trunk and blow them up.

What a frickin' fruit loop. She must be related to that ditz that told McCain last week that obama was an Arab. She was probably about the same age so maybe she was her twin.

Unbelievable.

DUMB--DUMB--DUMB!!

But please DON'T bring up the Hockey angle-- some of my dearest friends are hockey moms and dads
(my daughter figure skates, and I meet hockey parents all of the time. In fact, one of the hockey
moms is also one of the BEST figure skating coaches. In short, we KNOW EACH OTHER, and condemning
any hockey parents is also condemning figure skating parents. DON'T GO THERE!!!

Let's leave Manson out of it, please. Bringing up Manson is SOOOOOOOOOOO
entirely unnecessary. We need to remind people that Manson was a SERIAL KILLER! My dem husband HUNTS
and we eat venison and moose, so don't even go there either.

This picking at each other MUST END. PLEASE!!

17. Ed Schultz is a big time Dem and a serious hunter
and I am a fan of his. I have no problems with anyone who eats what they shoot. My mom used to work with a guy who gave her a few pounds of ground venison when he got a deer or two and I've never made such delicious chili! :9 Now shooting exhausted wolves in the snow out of a helicopter is a different issue, but I thoroughly enjoy game as food.

19. Todd Palin=Evita Peron
I know many people compare Governor Palin to Evita, but I actually think it is a better description of Todd. I'm going to start calling him Tovito.
