34. The John McCain of 2000, for whom I had respect,

would have made this a close race. Something evil inside him decided that it was more important to suck up to everything he had stood against rather than be true to himself. It's a classic Greek tragedy. Grampy was consumed by his evil self, which killed off his better self. I don't feel sorry for him one bit. He gave in to his evil angels and they consumed him. Since he isn't disavowing these calls then I can only believe that his humorous and respectful performance tonight was nothing more than just a performance. His legacy hangs in the balance. He can win or lose this with dignity or win or lose it in disgrace. looks like he'll go down ugly.
