More comments from phone calls to Indiana voters....
"McCain did not carry himself in a manner becoming the President and I've had enough of that the last eight years."

"I found him to be mean & hateful."

And the right wingers around me are having a huge problem supporting McSame. He just doesnt ***LOOK*** presidential to anyone. Comments like:

"He looked like the penguin"

"What the hell with the tongue sticking out?"

etc, etc

My wife just talked to the guy on the corner. He is >50 and just registered to vote first time in his life (I know). And he is voting for Obama!

We've ALL had enough of it!

I support Obama and the things he wants to do for our country. I may not agree with all the details, but I honestly believe he's a good man and we'll be in good hands with him as our President.

But ... the thing I love most about Obama is the fact that he conducts himself the way a president should. He thinks before he speaks, he can disagree with someone without being disrespectful, he has compassion, he's eloquent, he's intelligent ... the list goes on and on. I feel so proud when I think of him representing us! We won't have to be embarrassed anymore. We won't have to feel ashamed because other countries are forced to deal with a dipshit in the WH. We won't have to cringe whenever he says something stupid to a foreign leader, because he won't.

It will be so nice to have an adult in charge again! :)

On edit: I forgot to thank you for posting the comments, so ... thanks! :hi:

Isn't it embarrassing? I talk a lot with people from UK, Spain, Germany - and I'm always apologizing and saying we're not ALL like that!

5. I know what you mean
I have a good friend who is originally from Canada. A couple of months ago, her parents, who still live there, came for a visit and my friend had a casual dinner party for them. When the subject of politics came up, both my mother and I immediately said things like, "Please, don't blame us. It's not our fault. We didn't vote for him. We know he's an ass. We're sorry."

Neither one of us even thought about what we were saying. It was instinctive! I will be so happy when I don't have to feel this way anymore. :-)
