Edited on Thu Oct-16-08 01:07 PM by Median Democrat
The problem with tax policy is that it is hard to verbally explain tax brackets without causing people to tune out. You almost wish Obama could bring a Powerpoint into the debate, because most people just want to look at their tax brackets and ignore the rest. So, here it is:

See? Quick and easy.

3. Great chart! I'm going to e-mail it to everyone I know!
One question, though: where did it come from? I would like to cite the source in the e-mail.

Thanks!

6. The Link Is Not To USA Today, But It Looks Similar...
To the graph I saw there, so I am assuming. To make sure folks no the authenticity, I would link directly to USA Today or CNN Money, which have similar graphs.

7. That graphic is great except for the "average cut" line at the bottom.
They should have showed the median cut or something instead. Or show an average cut for people making under a million vs over a million.
