Did Schieffer ever let Obama have the last word last night?
I couldn't watch the whole debate and saw only about the first half of it. But it seemed up till that time that Schieffer was letting McCain have the last word on all the issues. Did he ever let Obama have the last word?

2. Once.
He let him make his closing remarks after McSame made his. Other than that, I don't think he did.

3. Obama had the last words of the debate

But yes, McCain did get the last word on most issues. I don't know if I'd blame Schieffer for that. McCain was awfully whiny during the debate, while Obama acted like an adult and just let some crazy shit go. There seemed to be little use in extending some of those discussions beyond the time they'd already consumed.

4. Other than the closing remarks
I counted one time that Obama got the last word and even then McLame was trying to overtalk Schieffer on the next question. I don't think Scheiffer did that on purpose I often thought that McSame was damned determined to get the last word in every time and Scheiffer let him do it more often than not.

5. I was pissed about that too
He would actually cut off Obama and when McInsane would insist he would allow him another 30 seconds, which turned into a lot more. Turned out okay though as the idiot buried himself.

7. The only one that mattered...the closing of the debate! I was
getting so irritated through the entire thing but when he was able to close it out, I said to my hubby, that's the only closing statement that mattered - I don't recall most of McLame's closing punches but I DO remember Obama's closing line and I think that resonated with viewers as well!

McCain was like a little kid trying to always say the last words and Obama was the parental figure, allowing the child to spurt and spout to no avail.

8. I was pissed for awhile, then I realized McCain dug himself
deeper into a hole everytime he opened his trap.

It still wasn't 'fair and balanced'.
