2. I'd like to know more about it, and it is a friend of mine who might be misinformed.
I don't mind providing contrary information, even if it doesn't change her mind. But she should know that the info she is being fed is a lie.

to establish a national "3rd Party" based on the kind of thing you seem in some states, where a Democrat (national) is also endorsed by the local progressive party, and is considered the "candidate" for that party as well. Dual listing.

Nothing came of it.

5. You weren't really "part of it"
They'd go to candidates and ask "would you like our dual endorsement" (along with your major party).

I dunno if he ever accepted an endorsement. Maybe he said yes. Who wouldn't? It was free support from some nameless, harmless group, like the National Grocer's Federation or something.
