but it was McCain's incredibly dismissive attitude that was significant and worth remarking on. The "health" of the mother DOES matter.

fyi - I survived a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Mind you, I bled out about 2 litters of blood and my heart had to be restarted twice on the operating table, and the total time elapse between my rupture and being prepped and ready to go in the operating table was less than 30 minutes, but I did survive.

So since it is theoretically possible to survive an ectopic pregnancy, I guess it's only "health" threatening?

How many women have 'faked" mental health problems for the purpose of obtaining a late-term abortion? Is there even ONE on record having done so?
