McCain's plan to lower the quality of education in our country
We need to encourage programs such as Teach for America and Troops to Teachers where people, after having served in the military, can go right to teaching and not have to take these examinations which -- or have the certification that some are required in some states.

Look, we must improve education in this country.

i cant believe this guy was stupid enough to suggest this in that context! wow.

1. Given that they are now accepting people without High School
Diplomas into the military... you could have dropouts teaching school to the next generation of dropouts.

BTW, you don't need this program to dumb down America, it is already happening.

My niece's 7th grade MATH teacher couldn't solve the following correctly...

9
--- = 3

m

solve for m... he came up with 27. I shit you not. She almost got into trouble for asserting that m = 27 was wrong!
