Crash... Burn ... Implosion ... What's left for McCain/Palin?
How will this disaster movie end?

Will there be anything left for the fiscal conservatives and social conservatives to rally around?

What is your best guess ....

1. My guess?
Only thing really left is an explosion. I'm hoping that McCain becomes completely unhinged on camera before this is over.

3. My hope...
is that the entire GOP splinters and just friggin' disintegrates. The historic moment that an American political party goes extinct. Am I being overly optimistic about this?

4. ok, I'd love to see repub party go away but you know something else
will take it's place. We can't be a one-party country...can we?

7. It would be nice to see an evolved...
more moderate version of the GOP in the future though. At the very least, I think this might be an opportunity for the more moderate wing of their party, if there even is one anymore, take back the reigns. There can be a separate conservative party, with much less influence hopefully. We shall see.

8. I think Obama can relax now. Obama should sit back and relax, and cruise on in for the win.
He shouldn't feel he needs to go out on on limb to bring in votes. Obama is not going to go down in the polls after last night.

I just don't want to see what happened to Howard Dean.

11. Look for the GOP to go down in flames, dragging everyone down into it.

I really have the feeling that they operate under the clause of "if we can't have it, nobody will."

These are going to be some ugly weeks ahead.
