5. Even if they destroy themselves and all of us at the same time.
There is something deeply ill about the entire rightwing mentality. A disease.

And no, dear freepers, Jesus sure the fuck wasn`t rightwing.

And did I mention how plain DUMB rightwingnuts are...

2. He will definitely have a tough job ahead of him...
The only consolation is that I think HE could make some progress in fixing it..while McSame and the barracuda would only make it worse...

4. all of us are in it, it's not a shitty country........
... he's got a tough job ahead of him, but would we want to waste the best president we've had in a long time on good times?

There's a reason we had Lincoln during the Civil War ....... call it divine intervention if you like .... but desperate times call for men of superior aptitude.

6. But this is how most presidents create a legacy
Look at FDR.....taking a bad situation and turning it around. Thankfully we'll have a Democrat congress that won't be looking to investigate him on a monthly basis.....instead will let him do America's business.

10. On the other hand, look at Carter.
He inherited a crap hand in the form of a wrecked economy and a sour national mood, and was pilloried for it. I do think that Obama is more politically adept, and has a better grasp on how to dig us out of this hole than Carter did, but then, it's a much bigger hole too.
