Wow! Am I glad that's done! There are a number of reasons people can vote early in SC if you check with your county office online. Being 65 or older automatically allows you to vote early or by absentee ballot (which are out of print apparently in our area right now). Disability (mine is not visible) automatically gets you in early. They are there with voting machines ready and waiting. If your job conflicts in some way, call and see if they'll let you come in and vote early. I personally had applied early for an absentee ballot, but was tracking my app. online and could see the actual ballot hadn't been mailed. So I went to the office and that's how, with my driver's license, I was able to vote right there. Because I also have a disability where I can't stand very long they brought the machine to a table for me so I could sit down! I had come the day before and picked up a sample ballot and was ready for the machine. Near the end was a button to confirm so you could see who all your picks were, and then you cast your ballot. Piece of cake!
