Have you ever seen a bigger asshole in your life? And god bless Obama. That man is a saint. We know he's human, because he couldn't stop himself from chuckling at the more audacious remarks from McCain. And I did hear three really loud sighs from McCain's general direction.

9. he was dispicable, childish and completely lacked what i hope a president to be.
sad sad sad
that there are people out there that only care about the zingers that were thrown and
probably didn't listen to the intelligence brought forth by b. obama.

ugh i am frustrated tonight

frustrated that a man who took the high road and stuck to the issues that we care about
is being overshadowed by a temper tantrum throwing POS

20. It really is
While I thought Obama could have done a better job correcting some of the more egregious ones, on a day like today- when people are freaking out about the economy and their jobs- I don't think that's what most folks wanted or needed to hear.

In most other years, public opinion polls would have come quite differently, I think.

that's what mccain sounded like to me...just a grade school kid trying to toss playground taunts as answers. oddly, I don't think viewers have to be terribly well-informed to realize that the "taunts" mccain was throwing were already stale and disproven.

My apologies to wolves everywhere. They're much more compassionate than John McCain.

21. I guess I left right when it got good
I was SO disgusted with Mckkkain -- he lies he lies he smirks he's absolutely horrible to watch.

I can't believe I am saying this, but even Bush is easier to watch than McKKKain or Palin. And I have always thought Bush was a dangerous liar. So that's about as bad as a person can get in my book.

I was so disgusted, so turned off, so angry....

And then I find out that almost all of America saw it. They don't like it either! Have you seen the polls? Gosh I am bummed I missed the abortion discussion.

I get so sick of hearing the lies and smears about this. I hear Obama set the record straight.

23. Three more weeks and he's done
I felt that way too - I can honestly say I never despised McCain until tonight, when I saw what an angry, spoiled, whiny little asshole he is. He went out of his way at every opportunity to be an utter asshole. He clearly is unfit for the Presidency on so many levels; his anger, his age (ironic given that he acted more like a five-year-old than a 72 year old), his lack of any coherent policies or plans, his complete fucking trailer trash idiot of a running mate, the list goes on and on and on.

Maybe John McCain had some decent moments in his career (standing up to Jerry Falwell was probably one of the highest) but he threw it all away in his quest for the Presidency. It's kind of sad, actually. He took whatever tiny bit of decency and gravitas he had assembled after his career in the Senate, and he pissed it all down the drain. He'll lose - and lose very badly - in three weeks, and after a stammering wishy-washy concession speech will be done for good. He's the Bob Dole of 2008, my friends!

25. Asshole was the word of choice here, punctuated by the

occasional LYING Asshole! I had a very difficult time not throwing something at my TV screen. In fact, I was aggravated enough I got up and went to the store midway, just to take the break. I have no respect for him anymore at all. Between the lies, grunts, interruptions and just plain rudeness I don't know how anyone could think he's fit for ANY position representative of the people, much less the presidency.

35. He was simply horrible and rather loathsome.
Edited on Thu Oct-16-08 07:42 AM by political_Dem
I still don't see why people could call him a good man. Everything he has ever conveyed amounted to deceit, egotism and self-importance. It sickened me how he treated Obama and his wife. It sickened me how he treated his first wife. And his crack about the "health of the mother" caused me to turn away from the television.

I think he is not only a racist but an unrepentant chauvinist too.

I usually don't curse, but he was a true bonafide asshat. He needs to be taken down a peg, imho.
