Joe the plumber ain't going to make a quarter million without customers
If people don't have money to hire millionaire Joe the Plumber, Joe ain't going to be a millionaire for long...

If Joe can't see that, fuck him.

5. That is a major problem with people like Joe the plumber
they believe they can do business with 0 to a few well to do customers and the government will pay them for their loses. Thats how it works with repiblicons, let businesses write loses off on tax dollars.

6. doesn't it take a new business awhile to build a customer base?
at least that's what I always thought.....new businesses typically don't make a lot of money when they're starting out anyway.

And if Joe does make a quarter mill per year, then he should pay more!

7. I pointed out that, at $40 an hour
Joe Plumber would have to work 292 24 hour days to pull in $250000 a year ... and that's not even allowing for the deductions for his 2.5 kids ...

8. And let's remember, Joe would be taxed on net income
after deducting for all business expenses including salaries.

If he paid all his business costs, then paid himself and each of his employees $250,000 per year, his business would still not pay a cent more than it does right now, unless he had more than 250,000 in net profit left over.

How many millions of dollars would it take for Joe's business to clear a quarter million in net profits?

How many middle income customers would Joe need in order to make that much money?

9. just heard from a co-worker ... "Joe the Plumber" is not as he represents himself ...
he was explaining himself on a talk show, saying he owns a business ...

but then, all the media spin, all the references of "Joe the Plumber", have been to "the guy down the street who fixes your pipes" type of thinking ... which would mean that this guy works 2/3 of the year without a break ... 24/7 ...
