PREDICTION: DUers will be disappointed in Obama's answer to Ayers at debate
Too much build-up. Many DUers acting as if Obama has devised the perfect response if McCain brings it up. His response will end up being anti-climactic.

Anticipate much "concern" after the answer doesn't live up to the hype.

1. Your concern over the "concern" is noted.
;)

3. I've been thinking the same thing.
I expect his answer to be much like his answer to Hillary's jabs in the primary debates.

4. True Enough, Sir
But it will probably be a squelch well received by the television audience....

5. We don't have to like his respone, the undecided voters and people who doubt Obama have to like it.

The average debate viewer seems to rate his performances higher than DU, the polls after the first debate were better than most reactions here.

6. So long as he gains or holds in the polls, who cares- it's not even a real issue.
I'm still not sure if McCain will bring it up.

8. PREDICTION: Obama will win the debate handily
Many DUers will be concerned over much of what Obama says.

Pat Buchanana will claim McCain "won the debate on points".

Ed Rollins will be even more despondent than nromal.

MAtt Drudge will be on suicide watch.

Faux News will resemble nothing more than a funeral procession.

9. the very fact that McCain will bring it up is a loser for him
Especially with the DOW down 733 today.

11. I was all concerned during the last debate-- Hey Hey Hey you missed an opening
on health care-- Come On !! Hey Hey !! -- And Senator Obama just picked up an even better opportunity later in the debate to cover the contrasts on their health care plans in substantial detail, given the time constraints.

So this time too I may find myself hopping, only to realize a bit later that Senator Obama has deftly introduced the topic I thought he'd missed.

As far as Ayers goes, it works far better for McLiar if he can keep it in Gossip Land.

If he has to answer to whether he has urged his Republican colleagues to return the Annenberg contributions they've received, or whether he had forgiven G. Gordon Liddy (who had served his time for burglary on behalf of Richard Nixon) when he had the fundraiser and appeared on his radio show calling him a great friend... If the vague slime is exposed to the light, its value will fall like the Dow.

A calm response might be for Obama to say he felt comfortable serving on that board because it was bipartisan, with its major funding from the Republican Annenberg family.

13. Obama has the truth on his side. So I'm not worried about that. I'm more concerned
about how he will answer the abortion questions

14. I haven't been disappointed by Obama yet .... but
doesn't mean I won't get excited by his answer either.

Whatever he does, I'm sure it will be cool, calm and collected.

Doesn't mean I get a knockout punch. I enjoy the debates on another level
