Poll question: Who would you think will replace Tom Brokejaw in Meet the Press?
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 02:54 PM by TheCoxwain
I am pressing the button for Katie .. she is respected, has strong interview skills and a pleasing personality.

Secretly - we would all love KO .. but you know it as well as I do - it ain't gonna happen.

I will add more names to this list that you suggest ..So I am not including a 'other' option as you can only vote once.

I really don't want to hear Mrs. Alan Greenspan covering up for her hubby and his friends and how they engineered the upcoming 2nd Great Bush Crime Family Depression.

11. Brian Williams is probably happy where he is - anchoring NBC Nightly News.
I can see David Gregory being tapped.

Katie Couric has a contract with CBS that she's probably pretty happy with.

Lester would have a wee bit more because he isnt known as being a partisan.

And you Chuck Todd haters can kiss my sweet liberal ass. He's an outstanding statistician, and a very good analyst. I don't WANT somebody who pulls our party line all the time (we have Keith and Rachel for that, and I like them right where they are).

Obviously, there won't be a need for "Race to the White House" in three weeks, and they aren't going to demote him back to correspondent, so they have to give him some other top billing assignment, and Press The Meat just happens to have an opening.
