I just got home from volunteering at Obama HQ - Ohio.

There were so many people there working for Senator Obama. Two people had come from San Francisco to volunteer and also a gentleman from Indiana (I think). Not only are we doing a great job in the Columbus area, but we are getting out of state help!

It was a great feeling being there helping out the campaign. I'll be there most every day until Nov 4th!

And I just want to say to ANYONE that wants to help the campaign but has issues dealing with people...you can do data entry. You do not have to call or canvass or talk to random strangers. They will stick you in front of a computer and put you to work.

Ohio for Obama/Biden!!!

It takes effort to put time in, but man, is it ever worth every minute. This is how we are going to win. I can see why the Obama people are not enthused about yard signs when they know it takes people to lay the groundwork and get the voters talking and taking action.

Have fun for the next 3 weeks. We're having a rock the vote event, another sign painting party, more canvassing, lots more phoning. I'm psyched.

Some of the best times I've had is volunteering for campaigns, especially when it's out of town. I happy there's a campaign office here in my home town. Funny thing is, we're in Ca, but we're calling Ohio and other battleground states.

I was very happy to know that I was still able to to my part. I think it's important that people are aware in case they have the same phone phobia/anxiety.

Last night I had planned on going over today, and then I got an email from MoveOn saying that location needed more volunteers.
