It's 911 and Iraq stupid!
Democrats already are viewed as best on the economy and health care issues, did you hear their convention touting up their accomplishments as far as the economy? No sir re bob because they know the lost jobs and outsourcing would choke them so they run on terror and safety.
You can say what you will/may but if Dems can't take the terror and safety away from georgie boy/or at least knock him down a leg/two to go along with the economy and health care up they have it will be more than sad in November.

1. Ditto, but....
when Bush uses the Fright Card, his poll numbers also surge on economy, jobs, etc. This is pathetic.

All the work Kerry does in those areas can all be for naught if he doesn't do something about Bush's huge advantage in national security - the main issue that will decide this election.

2. It's time to stop tiptoing and start stomping.
Kerry clings to the notion that he has to play it safe and look "tough" on terror. Which is simply a mirror of Goober's line. Every time he says anything even slightly negative about Iraq or the alleged "war on terror" the pugs respond with "..but you voted for it".

Time to get that monkey off his back by renouncing his IWR vote and his support for the occupation.

4. He has to start using the NBC report on how terrorism is UP, not
down since Chimpy is in office. Bush exploits things like the Russian school horror...but in reality, it should be framed as a NEGATIVE example of Bush's tactics failing miserably.

It's simple. Where the hell is the campaign on this? Instead, we get news about Medicare premiums going up...important, yes and they will show up in the debates....but NOW, we need a quick turnaround on the terror story....

5. Here's how you take terror and safety away...
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 02:23 PM by Davis_X_Machina
...from Georgie Boy:
KERRY: I want the American people to know that I'll be even more cavalier with human lives than my opponent. I'll be more prompt to kill swarthy people with the wrong God than Mr. Bush. And to prove my point, let me announce that on Tuesday morning I will be personally truck-bombing an Islamic center in Buffalo, NY.
Because that's what 'terror and safety' means.

Some prices are too high to pay even to win an election.

8. punch Zell
Kerry nees to punch ex-Marine Zell Miller in the nose, just like Zell threatened to punch Chris Matthews. The nation's alpha male needs to be seen as willing to injure others to get what he wants. With all the technology and voting rituals, we're still primates after all.

9. Agreed.
We have the advantage on the economy and healthcare issues, in my opinion. We should be attacking his perceived strengths.

10. Zero or Hero?
Why all the talk about if John bleed enough? Why not ask why the AWOL Chicken Hawks in the PNAC have any right to question the wounds of honored Veterans? Where are the Millions of Veterans the NeoCons are insulting with these not so Swift adds? Then show how GW is the best thing for terror since Israel. How Terrorists have increased from 6,000 to 18,000 under his watch. Talk about how the Bank of America will not cooperate with investigating Terrorist funding and ask WHY? Why are big business and the Bu$hCO helping to hide the Terrorists?
BECAUSE THAT IS ALL THEY HAVE TO FOOL YOU INTO ELECTING THEM.
Remember WE Did Not Elect them WE do not Have to Keep Them.
