Debate what if?
What do you think would happen if Barack brought Ayres up himself tonight? I will be very surprised if McCain brings it up because he knows it an absolutely BOGUS charge. I think he'll be too chicken. I'm wondering if during, say, his closing statement, Obama says something like, "Since Senator McCain has not brought up the topic of William Ayres, I'd like to clarify my relationship..." then go on to say that it was an ANNENBERG, bipartisan board, etc. What's the down side?

I think that Obama/Biden are doing the absolutely correct thing in sticking to the issues, but this could be an opportunity to deflate McCain/Palin even further by completely obliterating that moronic argument. Or not...why bring up an attack?

What do you think?

Looking forward to tonight.

KEEP MICHIGAN BLUE!!!!! :bounce:

1. Good thinking. But I prefer sleeping dogs to keep on dozing.
McScared will be hurt more if he doesn't have the guts to bring it up after his boisterous claims.

2. what if---McCain brought up the fact that his transition team chief was a lobbyist for Saddam?
That would be super fun for me the home viewer.

3. Why bring up a non issue?
If McSame wants to bring up Ayers, we can talk about that, and talk about McSame's relationship with David Ifshin, and his transition team leader's ties to Tongsun Park and Saddam Hussein, and Charles Keating, and Todd Palin's relationship with secessionists.

Otherwise, let's talk about the economy.
