I'm going to be totally, 100% honest:
Obama could have a narcoleptic spell tonight & sleep throughout 85% of the debate...
and I would STILL vote for him.

He has already shown me, time after time, that he is heads above McKlan.
Nothing McKlan says or does tonight will change the mind of most voters.

Stay positive. Obama will win tonight, just like he and Biden have EVERY other debate thus far.

1. Mentioned the debate tonight to a little old lady at Dunkin Donuts
And she said, "Pshaw, that's not much difference between the two."

I was too gobsmacked to reply.

"Excuse me, madam, but do you know what 'diametrically opposed' means?"

16. Oh, I'd have never thought of it at the right time.
I never do. But after a few miles I would have thought of it.

11. Ya think she knows what "diametrically opposed" means?
She'd probably think it was a new donut. :donut:

14. I'll have one "diametrically opposed"
and a small "mutually exclusive" with milk and one sugar.

7. Alot of people think they are all corrupt and not "really" different.
We live in a bubble of sort here on DU and we forget that a good number of people surrounding us really have no interest in politics. They find it boring or confusing or just futile.

9. I have an aquaintance who feels the same way.
I have a feeling I know which way he will vote, but he hasn't said.

He does, however, believe that both candidates represent "big government" and that they are not fundamentally different. This is an otherwise smart man, too.

8. 100% Obama supporter here. Obama "has this".
I feel sssooo much better to rest my fears on his shoulders. I have so much faith that this man will deliver us from the evil of the past 8 years. Biden was my second choice for pres. I have so much faith in this ticket.

17. That's true for vast majority. After nearly 2 years of this stuff most have made their decision.
Obama could pick his nose, scratch his ass and fart on camera and it will have no impact.
