Are There Any Adults At The Palin Speech In Dover, NH?
All I see are mostly high school students. Is This proper? I know that many of the venues used for speeches are schools, but did the school require students to attend?

2. As long as the school is non-partisan about it...
...I don't have a problem with a school requiring the kids to go to a politician's speech.

8. How can it possibly be non-partisan?....
I've got a big problem with it, they tried this in my county in Virginia recently, and there were so much angry outcry over it, they were forced to move it.

9. If the students are required to go to an equal number of speeches by Republicans...
...and by Democrats.

10. I believe in giving extra credit for kids doing this on their own time..
which is what the policy was when I went to school, but to require them to go and watch politicians on school time, no I'm not for that at all.

3. How many kids would skip classes to go to a historical event?
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 11:03 AM by quantessd
I would, even if it was a crusty old republican. It might not even occur to teens that people would think they are supporters.

Edit: So it's a Palin rally. Well, same idea, except you might get some teen boys who think she's a MILF.
