5. Rachel Maddow deconstructed it today as well, with Jonathan Alter of Newsweek I think.

Alter pretty much said the one "real" thing was a capital gains tax cut that benefits only millionaires, because everyone else doesn't have any capital gains right now with the bad economy.

Palin has had more media focus than Obama? OMG this god is the perfect example of why the Bush presidency failed. Thanks Jon for reminding me why these people should never be allowed a seat of power again. This guy exists in some non-reality that's painful to listen to.

8. Any thoughts on Colbert "Prisoner" word?

.....For all the greatness that was tonights Daily Show, I just watched and crindged through Colbert's "word".

In my opinion, that crossed waaaay over the line, and is perfect cannon-fodder for foxnews to grab and run with through the news cycle tomorrow.

I know its probably not the most popular thing to say here, but I had to mention it because even the audience reacted rather coldly to this diatribe about John McCain.

Please talk me down, or explain how I'm wrong. I know the other guys say worse, but I just didn't think it was funny or appropriate.
