I KNEW this was how a Dem would have to win. Up 10 pts or more

Because the Democrats/progressive candidates seem to be fighting against the networks and their horse race coverage AND cheating GOP and their voting machines (cute how those were the fix for the 2000 hanging chads travesty of justice). Because of a bunch of poorly educated close minded Americans in the middle swaths of our country (and quite a few along the edges as well).

The ONLY way we can win is for something to be so certainly the right choice that the candidate and down ballot candidates win by HUGE margins such that manipulations are beyond being an option.

What I want to know is.....WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS on January 2009? What is my congressperson and what are my senators going to do?

MY FIRST thought would to have international election monitoring agencies witness elections in all states to validate the elections are transparent or not and to write reports on what should change in states that receive a failing grade.

NO VOTE LEFT BEHIND ACT. I do NOT want another election to be under a cloud.

2. Voting should be standardized across the board

and same day registration in every state...there is absolutely no reason a person cannot register and vote the same day. Get rid of the machines, pen and paper, scanning paper ballots is alright, but no hook-ups to central tabulators...

3. I agree with you on the voting changes

I mean come ON! If we can piss away hundreds of billions on stupid adventures abroad supposedly in service of Democracy you'd think we could as a country get our voting right.
