So my neighbors have a McCain sign in their yard
The last election they had a Kerry/Edwards sign...

How do you go from voting for Kerry in 2004 to voting for McCain/Palin in 2008??

I'm dumbfounded

24. It's nothing but racism, pure & simple. I have the same thing in my
neighborhood. A garbage collector (not one w/a union, but a small Southern town garbage collector) whose family has lived off the land here (not a big farming operation, just grew most of their food) for generations has a Mavwreck/P'n sign in his yard. This family has always been Democrats, until now. There is no other explanation for this change of events, except racism. These are "good ole' Southern boys". I proudly put out my Obama/Biden sign just to piss him off. I haven't talked to him much lately (I think he's actually sorta scared of me, because I'm an educated, strong-willed woman), so I haven't heard his opinion on the election this year. But, I think it's rather transparent....:eyes:

29. Racism, pure and simple. My Repug co-worker finally asked me today
if I were really going to cast my vote for "that n***er" for president. I knew it was just under the surface with him, but wow......just wow. Of course, I live in TX, and that attitude is nothing new here.

fortunatly (sort of), our company will soon be going under, thanks to his ilk, and we'll never see each other again.

but fuck them, I cannot talk to anyone who would stoop to this.....It would be over for me. BTW, I am not seeing any McSame/pain bumper stickers....I think many people are "in the closet" with their choice, because they don't want to take the abuse from real humans like us.

17. Odd, for sure.
I am forever sickened by ANYONE who likes Palin. I'm pretty forgetful but not when it comes to stuff like this, Palin signs in people's yards might as well be burning crosses or something, I know exactly where they are in my neighborhood.

I hope I can act sane again after the election is over :banghead:

My parents have two neighbors with "Another Democrat For McCain Signs" in there yard. But the thing is every other sign they have for other offices is for Republicans. I want to go politely asks them to gtfo of my party.

22. They're not bitter Hillary people, are they?
I have one.. 4 doors down. She's an older white lady.. a member of the "red hat" society.. rabid Hillary lover.. now a pissed off McCain supporter.

She's my evidence that there is a small portion of truth to the Puma thing.. although not much. And, I have no idea if she was a former republican who was only voting for Hillary because she's female - so take it with a grain of salt.

25. Pay them a visit and say, "I wanted to tell you how much I admire you and your McCain sign.
"It takes guts to be a member of a political Party that's going extinct, and it takes even more guts to show your support for the presidential ticket that's going to drag that Party over the abyss."
