A Theory on McAged & Palin
As most of us know, ole McAged hated the chimpster. So, why on earth did the old goat become the lapdog/posterboy for monkeyboy?
My theory is that the puppetmasters promised the GOP nomination to the ole coot in the next election if he played along.
Then during the primary when McAged's campaign flailed he got pissed that the puppetmasters had gone back on their word and threatened to expose something he learned along the way. So they picked up the withering remains of his campaign and upheld their commitment to him. But, no way in hell would they allow him to select Lieberman. I think they were pissed that McDitto had to gall to threaten them and set him up with Failin Palin to humiliate him, make him a laughing stock and ensure that not only does he not win the election but that odds are in the end, he'll lose his senate seat as well.
They don't need to win this election. Things are so incredibly bad its better that they not risk using their rigged electronic voting boxes. Let Obama win and take the fall for the disaster that is America. They can come back, Carter him for the next cycle and return to the WH in four years.
So while I don't think they'll go for the top seat this cycle we should be VERY wide eyed on the Congressional races. If there will be any foul play going on this time, that's where it will happen.
Just a theory.

1. Good theory.
I'd back it. And if it's true, I hope it backfires when the "disaster" ends up solved by reasonable, responsible presidential policies. If Obama can pull off the impossible in his first term, it will be quite some time before we see another GOP POTUS.
