I liked what Kerry said about Bush wanting Re-election.
I had it on CNN Headline news briefly. But it showd Kerry ( I think it was this morning) saying "The President wants you to re-elect him. For what? Being the first president since Herbert Hoover to lose jobs? Mismanaging the war? Causing people to lose their Health insurance?" He did a good job of emphasizing why Bush should NOT be re-elected.

One of Kerry's strengths is that he makes a good speech. If you stick with him, you realize that he does know what is up, he is pretty interesting. Kerry's weakness is that he is not punchy. He usually does not have a good soundbyte to use for the news. He does have a couple especially from his convention speech. He had one today in the campaign stop. So, it looks like he is dealing with this weakness.

1. Kerry wasn't my first choice
but he doesn't put up with anyone's shit. That has never been in question.

2. Mark my words.
Kerry/Edwards will rachet up the rhetoric in a methodically linear fashion. He'll hit on 1-2 themes a day that will have to be reported by the corporate media. It will be issues and policy oriented with the occaisional direct broadside. Personally, I think he's got a couple of aces up his sleeve that will be played at the appropriate time.

Tighten your seatbelt, it's going to be one helluva wild ride into November.

3. Kerry's never going to be Clinton...
in delivering a speech, but he will always match Clinton's passion from the stump when he's campaigning.

4. I like the side I saw of Kerry when he didn't realize there were
microphones nearby him when he told people at a rally, "These are a bunch of crooks." That gave me a lot of satisfaction.

6. Re-elect is the wrong term--don't let Shrub define the terms
He he has not yet been elected. He lost all but one of the recounts. He could be the first president to be 0 for 2.

8. Bash Bush hard.
If he's going to tell lies about us, tell the truth about him. ;-)

9. I think Kerry speaks very well and that it's the media bastards
who keep telling us Kerry is "unexciting", "long winded", etc. Not at all. He packs punches into words and keeps people's attention. He gets the point across and I'm sick of anything out of his mouth being shit upon by these whores as "boooring, uninteresting, etc". It's Bush's whine and stuttering and utter 'nothing' words that make one drift off.

10. Re-elect Bush?
We've heard this "re-elect" business too much.
Remember, GWB wasn't elected; Al Gore was. Bush was chosen, anointed by the Supreme Court. This "re-elction" crap is a lie. Use the correct language.
