Chuckles excusing McCain's unfavorable numbers
He's laying the blame on people who were already Obama supporters, saying his numbers among white people have stayed basically the same.

There must be a dictate in the NBC family that they have to qualify any bad numbers for McCain.

The big news orgs seem to be the only ones still not calling it a wide-open swing state.

3. They have to keep coming up with different ways to say
"McCain's still in it." Otherwise, why will people tune in on election night if it's already in the bag for Obama (not that that isn't going to be the case)?
