A tale of two offices or it is grand to be a Democrat in NC these days.
It was the best of times (to be a Democrat), it was the worst of times (to be a Republican).....

I just got back from my lunch time errands and I want to relate an observation I made over the last hour. I first went by the Mecklenburg County Democratic Headquarters to pick up the money from this past weeks sales (I am the county treasurer). The place was hopping! People coming in to get their Obama/Biden yard signs, volunteers stuffing envelopes, phones ringing off the hook, even saw a couple of candidates stop in. The Hagan office is right next door and they were very busy also.

Then I had to go over to the building where the county Republican party is to drop some stuff off at an attorney who is in the same building. I figured I would pop my head in to see if anything was happening. One lone staffer eating lunch and nobody else around. It was kind of depressing....NOT.

This past hour really showed me where the excitement is and that people truly believe in our message.
