Obama voted against it b/c the omnibus bill didn't include a timeline for withdrawal of troops, potentially preserving the safety and life of Cindy's soldier boy.

McCain voted against the same bill with adjustments because there WAS a timeline for withdrawal.

What I want to know is which candidate gave Cindy the bigger chill.

Is that not what we're trying to get past? Those types of images in American heads? I don't get it. I just finished looking at Drudge's "Obama kissing a white woman" picture and now I see this. The reason Drudge posted that picture is the same reason "Birth of a Nation" was created.

As a white woman who is married to a black man I would like to believe we are moving forward in America with regard to race relations. (Not dredging up all this hate from the past.) Obama is a great light that will lead us on the way to tolerance. If the McCain camp wants to sling that stuff around, let them hang themselves with it. I don't understand why anyone here would dig it up.

Cindy knows McCain also voted against funding the troops. The McCain campaign couldn't resist the optics of a very white woman expressing fear of a black man. Why would you think that drawing attention to the parallels between the propaganda of Birth of a Nation and the McCain campaign on a liberal forum is comparable to posting racist images on Drudge?

I'd say lack of money is the better pain than death or 5 terms in Iraq.

For someone to even suggest death is less important than money must have their priorities out of whack.

Maybe this worked before the light was shed on the illegal war in Iraq, but today with everyone feeling we need to get out of Iraq, for her to say that was a mistake. It's not 2003 or 2004.

That's the way I'm seeing it and going to see it. It's money over death or death over money? Cindy puts more importance in money than the troops dieing for in an illegal war.

Why isn't Obama making it a point about this being an "illegal war", or is he and it slipped by me?
